Collabro - A Brass Band Wonderland - Dec 2015

Collabro were on Sky Arts channel last night singing some celebrated festive songs including Sleigh Ride and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.  Of course their vocal technique was perfect leading to yet another impeccable performance!  They really must do a Christmas Album for us Collaborators next year! Their versatility and talent were again showcased in this very unusual setting!  It was filmed in Peak Cavern deep in the Peak District, also known locally as Devils Arse (how rude!!!).

They did find the venue more challenging than their usual concert hall, with power to the cave being one of the problems as it kept cutting out but they managed!

I was interested to know how this environment affected the way the sang.  They did find it difficult as there was an echo and a delay but ever the professionals they pulled it off faultlessly!

Other performers were Russell Watson, The Fairey Band, The Hackney Colliery Band, Rhodes and Andreya Triana

The setting was aimed at giving the audience a 360 experience with the two bands situated on their own stage at two different locations.  There were also lots of lights to give the cave a Christmas Grotto feel!
